The Africa Gas & LNG Summit (AfGLNG) & Exhibition 2026 is held under the official patronage of H.E. President Daniel Chapo, convening industry leaders, policymakers, investors, technology innovators, and energy stakeholders shaping Africa's gas economy.

AfGLNG 2026 runs from 11 to 13 November at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre, Maputo, Mozambique.

AfGLNG's conference programme connects delegates directly with the people, projects, and ideas shaping the future of gas and LNG, through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. Presidential patronage extends the summit's reach to the government bodies and operators leading Mozambique's LNG development, giving delegates direct access to the decision-makers driving the sector forward.

As governments and investors look to diversify long-term energy partnerships, Africa's natural gas reserves, and the projects already underway across Mozambique, Senegal, Mauritania, Nigeria, Congo, Angola, and Tanzania, position the continent at the heart of that shift. Mozambique: The Centre of Africa's LNG Boom

Close to 40 Mtpa of LNG capacity is converging on Mozambique within a single decade, one of the largest concentrations of LNG development anywhere in the world today. TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil and Eni are executing three of the continent's largest LNG projects along the same stretch of coastline, backed by capital already committed to construction.

That is the scale AfGLNG convenes around: three days inside the country where it is actually being built.

The Projects Behind the Programme

Mozambique's coast anchors three of the continent's largest LNG developments, and they sit at the centre of the AfGLNG programme.

Mozambique LNG, led by TotalEnergies, is a $20 billion development expected to produce around 13 million tonnes per year. Rovuma LNG, led by ExxonMobil and Eni, is an 18 Mtpa mega-project set to become one of Africa's largest LNG facilities. Coral South FLNG has been exporting gas since 2022 as Africa's first deepwater floating LNG project, and the $6 to 7 billion Coral North FLNG expansion is set to double Mozambique's LNG output by 2028.

AfGLNG is the only major LNG summit held inside the country building these projects, with direct access to the government, the operators, and the project pipeline itself, reaching from West Africa's MSGBC Basin to the Mozambican coast.
