Said Ben Afane Ibouroi

Said Ibouroi is the Senior Manager, East Africa & Latin America at the ITFC (International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. He leads strategic partnerships and trade finance initiatives across emerging markets, working with governments, financial institutions, and development partners to support economic growth, energy security, and trade development. 

With over 15 years of experience in trade, Islamic finance, international development, Said has structured and managed major financing programs across emerging markets, particularly in the energy, agriculture, and food security sectors. He has played a key role in developing innovative financing solutions and fostering partnerships that facilitate access to essential commodities and promote sustainable development. 

Prior to joining ITFC, Said worked with the ICD (Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector) in Saudi Arabia, and PwC in Luxembourg, gaining extensive experience in investment financing, risk assessment, and financial auditing. He holds a Master's Degree in Banking & Finance from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, is a Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP), and a Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP).
