With nearly a decade at Flowserve, Romuald Cusumano brings a distinctive perspective to industrial reliability, energy efficiency, and rotating equipment. 

He leads the development of Flowserve’s Energy Advantage Program across Africa and Southern Europe, helping industrial operators challenge conventional thinking, identify overlooked energy-saving opportunities, and translate technical challenges into measurable results. 

Globally, the program has reported cumulative savings of 345 GWh of energy, more than 102,000 tonnes of CO₂, and $44 million in operating costs. 

Based in Belgium, with Spanish and Italian roots, Romuald speaks five languages and brings a multicultural perspective to his work with customers and partners across international markets. 

Driven by curiosity, human connection, and a practical focus on solutions, he combines technical understanding with a fresh approach to familiar operational challenges.
